Personal Project

This is an ongoing personal project exploring hand drawn typography as well as calligraphy and brush lettering. I’m experimenting with an array of media: iPad and Apple Pencil, Acrylic Paints, Adobe Illustrator and the classic Pen and Paper of course. I’ve always loved to draw letter forms so thought I would delve a little deeper and start to have a go at learning some new skills as a break away from my day-to-day commercial work. These are just a few examples of my workings so far, it’s very much in its infancy, but thought it would be fun to show a different side to what I usually work on and for me to see my personal progression in my drawing and lettering.
